This Lunch seminar will highlight and discuss opportunities and limitations in geocoded aid data as a resource for Swedish development cooperation and Sweden’s partner countries. The starting point is a recent EBA-report by Ann-Sofie Isaksson and her recommendation that Swedish aid data should be geocoded.
Questions discussed during the seminar will be: Why geo referenced data? What is the potential for Swedish aid, Sweden’s partner countries and partners? How to geocode aid data? Can geo referenced aid data help improve Openaid, transparency, evaluation and planning in Swedish development cooperation? Can geo coded aid data strengthen or negatively affect the ownership of aid from partner countries?
